Personal characteristics

I'm the college student. Recently, I start to learn cooking but when I was thinking about food, I don't know what to cook for a meal and I can't get inspiration for ingredients pairing. I'm looking for an App that could help me to solve these problems.

 

Goals / Motivations

I want to know if there are food inspirations in App and save food ingredients to shopping lists. I also want to pair the food ingredients and see if there are some recipes for that.

 

Current Behavior

I want to create my own cookbooks in App and I want to know some inspirations about food.

 

Challenges

When I want to cook a meal for myself or my family, I don't know how to find the specific food categories and I don't know how to pair food ingredients.

 

Needs

1. I want to find the specific meal categories on the homepage and know the specific cooking process. It could be better if there are cooking video.

2. I would like to pair the food ingredients and see what recipes could be cooked.

3. I need to create my own cookbook on my profile page.

Important Insights

1. This app needs to provide the clear visual image of food and ingredients inspiration.

2. Many interviewees like to note their favorite food list. Creating their own recipe is important for them to note it down.

3. Most interviewees want to use remained food to cook the meal, the app also needs to allow users to search their ingredients and see what to cook.

4. Provide evaluation of the food and a clear way to exit to the first screen.

5. For the recipe page, the app should provide the specific process of cooking and show the time and offer a process video.
